JEE Advanced Result 2020 announced; Chirag Falor secures first rank, Kanishka Mittal tops in girls

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT-Delhi) has declared the JEE Advanced Result 2020. Candidates who have taken the JEE Advanced 2020 Examination can check their results online on the official website at jeeadv.ac.in.

Chirag Falor of IIT Bombay zone has bagged All India Rank -1 in the common rank list (CRL) He scored 352/396. Among the female category, Kanishka Mittal is the topper. She bagged AIR- 17 in the CRL. She scored 315/ 396.

JEE Advanced 2020 was held successfully across the nation on September 27 by IIT Delhi. Nearly, one lakh candidates appeared for the JEE Advanced 2020 exam amid the COVID-19 pandemic. IIT Delhi also released the All India Rankings (AIR) along with the scorecards.

Out of the total registered candidates for JEE Advanced exam, 96 per cent of them appeared for the JEE Advanced exam 2020. The JEE Advanced exams were held in 222 cities and 1001 JEE exam centers all over the country. A total of 1,51,311 candidates wrote Paper 1 and 1,50,900 candidates appeared in Paper 2 of JEE Advanced 2020 exam.

Meanwhile congratulating the students and encouraging the ones not getting desired results, Education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said plenty of opportunities for those who couldn’t get desired rank.

The education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Monday tweeted to congratulate the students who cleared the JEE Advanced 2020. He wrote, “congratulate all students of #JEEAdvanced who got their desired rank and request them to work for #AtmaNirbharBharat in the near future.”

He also said that plenty of opportunities are available for students who couldn’t get their desired rank. “Students should remember that an exam cannot define them,” he added.
