I and Dilip Ghosh will run the government after election: Suvendu Adhikari
The first round of assembly elections has just ended. There are still seven phases left. The second phase will be on April 1. But the BJP can't wait any longer. However, the party could not yet decide who will be the chief minister if the BJP comes to power. Meanwhile, Suvendu Adhikari claimed that he and Dilip Ghosh would run the government if the BJP comes to power in the state.
At a meeting, Suvendu Adhikari said, “After the election, I and Dilip Ghosh will run the government. Narendra Modi, Amit Shah has shown their trust in us.”
Meanwhile, on April 1, Suvendu will cast his vote from his own center Nandigram. However, standing on the ground in Medinipur, he raised the issue of Kharagpur Sadar by-election. He said, “Pradeep Sarkar's victory in the by-election here is an accident. Forget it because without Suvendu Adhikari, the Trinamool Congress could not have won that by-election.”
“This time the BJP government is coming to Bengal. And I and Dilip Ghosh will run the government,” he added.
Earlier, Suvendu Adhikari and Dilip Ghosh had challenged the Trinamool Congress to oust it from power. Suvendu claimed to run the government.
Trinamool Congress spokesperson Kunal Ghosh scoffed at the BJP in this regard and said, “Suvendu Adhikari and the BJP are daydreaming. They have understood their defeat, so trying to give a vocal tonic to the workers for the rest of the vote. However, the answer to all these questions will be found on 2 May.”
