Apple company is all set to launch its Mac series based on M1 Silicon processor. They have announced the series which will include MacBook Pro 13-inch, MacBook Air, and Mac mini computers.
The first of this new generation of Apple Silicon processors is called the Apple M1. It features eight cores (four high-power and four power-efficient) as well as a custom integrated GPU, image signal processor, Secure Enclave, and Neural Engine. The Apple M1 is designed with a new unified memory architecture which will further improve in power efficiency and is manufactured on a 5nm process.
The price of the Mac series in India will range as previous MacBook Pro models. The refurbished 13-inch MacBook Pro will be starting from Rs. 1,22,900 for 256GB of storage, and Rs. 1,42,900 for 512GB of storage.
The MacBook Air with Apple M1 SoC will have a range starting with a 256GB variant priced at Rs. 92,900 in India and a 512GB model priced at Rs. 1,17,900. There are colour options as well, Silver, Gold and Space Grey.
But, the Mac mini computers price has reduced by a notch, the 256GB version now priced at Rs. 64,900 and 512GB version at Rs. 84,900. The online store of Apple in India is already taking orders.
The new Silicon processor has been engineered for better power efficiency and memory storage. MacOS 11 Big Sure will be available from November 12 for downloading. It has been prepared to manage tasks between the high performance and efficiency cores.
MacBook Pro 13-inch will be 2.8X faster, with up to 5X faster graphics and 11X speedier machine learning than the previous generation, making it the world's fastest compact pro notebook.
Whereas, the MacBook Air is the world's best-selling notebook as it is light weighted and it is 3.5X speedier CPU performance, 5X faster graphics and 9X more rapid machine learning than the previous generation. It will give the assurance of better performance rate than the PC laptops that were sold the last year.
And, the MacBook mini will have 3X faster in terms of CPU performance than the previous version, with a 6X increase in graphics performance and 15X faster machine learning.
