Being a woman, it takes of many talents and powers to triumph over evil. Durga Devi's story provide invaluable learnings for women of all ages, that within them resides the ability to be protector, warrior and a care-giver ..... It is well known that Goddess Durga transformed herself into many different avatars depending on the need and situation she was presented with. Women mirror this trait in everyday life, smoothly transitioning from a mother to a working professional, to a friend & just being thyself. This dexterity ought to be treasured, celebrated and appreciated much more than it perhaps is. THIS is what we need to draw and learn from Durga’s story, and apply it to society. Not only does Goddess Durga serve as an icon for empowering women, her life presents many lessons from which we can learn, particularly with reference to women in society today. In this picture of mine , I just want to symbolise these things which I depend on to keep the darkness at bay and hold evil in check, within or outside. These are my weapons which help me fight against all odds!! I Am A Virago !! #virago #womanhood #superheroes #shakti #devi #durga #dasara #navaratri #mahakaali #chamundi #iam #strong #shree #simplelife #extraordinaryyou ❤️ PC : @chidu.ln_portraits 😍🙏 Makeup & hair : @makeoversbyamitha_lekha Saree & blouse : @anargya_couture
