How to make a car dashcam from an old phone?
For this, first go to the Google Play Store on your phone and search for Droid Dashcam Video Recorder in the search bar. Click on the first option that appears, install this app on your phone and set it up using your old phone. Then install it on the dashboard of the car.
Remember that the phone is constantly charging. It records all videos in a loop and will save all the videos on your phone. In case of a problem, you can open and check any video.
Old phone can be turned into a CCTV camera
- To turn an old phone into a CCTV camera, install the IP Webcam app on it. As soon as you open the app, click on Start. After granting permission, proceed.
- This will open your phone's camera. Note down the IP address displayed on the screen. Fill the IP address in the link address option of the phone's browser.
- After doing this the IP Webcam website will now open. There will be two options displayed here, video rendering and audio, if you want to see the recorded video, you can go to video rendering.
- After this click on the browser. If you are interested in watching videos and audios, select the flash option shown next to the audio player.
- Now you can monitor your home from anywhere. You will be able to hear and see videos and audios.
