Pope Francis, who had cancelled his Lent retreat for the first time during his papacy following symptoms similar to coronavirus, is safe as he has been tested negative.
Pope, who lost part of his lungs when he fell ill ages ago, was suffering from cold and even cancelled his week-long retreat at church and offered the service from home.
According to reports, the Pope was suffering from severe cold and this had sparked panic and doubts among the public about he turning a victim of the deadly coronavirus as Italy too is gripped by the deadly virus scare.
Meanwhile, coronavirus has claimed over 52 lives with over 1835 people, who have tested positive, in Italy.
