A video of Serendipity 3, a popular restaurant in New York City, created the world's most expensive French fries by setting a new Guinness world record goes viral.

Creative director and chef Joe Calderone and corporate executive chef Frederick Schoen-Kiewert of Serendipity3 restaurant made the French Fries, which cost USD 200 (Rs 14,928 approximately).

Thinking why these French Fries are this expensive, it's the ingredients they use.

The video shared on the official Instagram handle of Guinness World Records explains as the fries are made with upstate Chipperbeck potatoes, which then blanched in Dom Perignon Champagne and J LeBlanc French Champagne Ardenne Vinegar.

Then they are fried thrice in pure goose fat and then seasoned with Guerande truffle salt and Urbani summer truffle oil.

Finally, the fries are topped with shaved Crete Senesi Pecorino Tartufello.

The video has left everyone drooling and has garnered 174,138 views in just two days.
