A Twitter user with the handle @nitinmisra purchased some for himself. However, he was astounded beyond belief when he received a plate of samosas with numbers punched into the crust. He saw something out of the ordinary, on its crust - a type of stamp."The samosas I bought had serial numbers on them. Please keep electronics away from my halwai," the user stated on social media.

The post drew a lot of attention from fellow Twitter users, who stated that the stamp wasn't such a strange practice after all. The tweet garnered a fair bit of attention from fellow Twitterati, stating that the stamp wasn't a bizarre practice after all.
