Sabyasachi's collaboration with H&M ‘Wanderlust’ triggers desi meme fest

While attempting to make clothes affordable for brands like H&M, the expectation Indians had from the designer appears to have been lost.


We are sure you would have noticed the latest collaboration between Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee and the fashion brand H&M. Sabyasachi, a label known for its exquisite Indian wear, ranging from lehengas to sari. There is a known joke with many Indian girls that they wouldn't get married unless they wear Sabyasachi lehenga on their big day. Though the Indian designer is known for over-the-top and luxury, the latest collaboration seems the opposite.

While attempting to make clothes affordable for brands like H&M, the expectation Indians had from the designer appears to have been lost. Many Indians did not have too many positive reviews but indeed had memes for him.
