A Telangana man tied his car with ropes and attached the other end to cement pillars on top of his house in the flood-hit Sircilla town.

Heavy rains hit parts of Telangana, turning everyday lives out of gear. Between waterlogging and traffic noises, a video from flood-hit Siricilla has emerged on social media. A car is tied with ropes in the video to prevent it from being washed away in floods.

Reportedly, the car owner tied all four ends with ropes and attached the other end to strong pillars on top of his house. He developed this idea after observing several vehicles being washed away in the floods by heavy rains.


The busy roads of the Sircilla town were seen immersed while residential areas were inundated. Police personnel were also seen moving out people from the isolated colonies.

After being shared online, the video has accumulated over 7.3k views. Netizens were surprised to see a unique idea. Watch the video.
