A huge gorilla weighing 196kg underwent coronavirus test in Miami
Miami: Pictures of a huge gorilla undergoing a coronavirus (COVID-19) test has gone viral on social media. In the picture, doctors can be seen taking swabs from the gorilla.
The gorilla named Shango underwent COVID-19 test at Miami.
'Shango' the gorilla lives at the Miami-Dade Zoological Park and Gardens, also known as Zoo Miami.
Shango was earlier treated by doctors for injuries, which he sustained while fighting with his brother Barney. While treatment tests were conducted including ultrasound, a TB test, and a COVID-19 test.
Shango's test results too came after days, which came back negative. Shango and his younger brother arrived at Zoo Miami in 2017.
