Autorickshaw driver accepts cryptocurrency for fare, leaves netizens confused

The citizens were taken aback by the rickshaw sign that read, "We accept cryptocurrency."

The autorickshaw driver has been identified as Vinoth Kumar from Tamil Nadu's Chennai. Speaking to him exclusively about what made him post a sign stating that he accepts cryptocurrency, Kumar said he did it for investment purposes and was involved in trading through WazirX. As of now, no customers have paid in cryptocurrency, but it helps in getting the conversation started with the passengers. He has been driving the auto since 2019 and brings his business through Ola.
