Air India plane gets stuck under the pedestrian foot-over bridge in Delhi

While transported, a scrapped Air India plane got stuck underneath an overbridge for pedestrians near Delhi airport.


A video of an Air India aircraft stuck under a overbridge in Delhi has emerged on social media. As per the sources, the incident occurred near the Indira Gandhi International Airport on the Delhi-Gurgaon highway. The 40-second video shows an Air India plane stuck within one side of the road while the other side seems blocked by the aircraft.

As the video of the plane stuck under the bridge went viral, the airline authorities confirmed that it was not an accident and a scrapped plane stuck beneath a bridge while being transported by its new owner, who bought it from Air India. There is not much information about the aircraft as Air India has already sold it off.

After being shared online, the video accumulated over 10.3k views. Netizens were amused after watching the video of an Aeroplane stuck under a foot over a bridge has surfaced on digital media platforms.

A similar event had happened in 2019 when an abandoned India Post aircraft being transported on a vehicle got stuck under a bridge in West Bengal’s Durgapur. Watch the video
