Maniram Mandawi from the Gond Adivasi community in Chattisgarh practices a rather impressive musical instrument that has caught the netizens' attention. Made with Bamboo, this instrument is called a 'swinging flute.' As the name suggests, the swinging action produces the tune, and it is the melodic one.

In the video, flute-maker Maniram said that these swinging flutes were used to create music while walking through forests.
"Our swinging flutes are used to produce music. People also use it to ward off animals such as tigers, cheetahs and bears when we go to ghotuls (traditional dormitories in some Adivasi communities) through the forest".

This video was shared on Twitter by a handle called 'People's Archive on Rural India. As the video went viral on social media, Netizens liked the device and its multipurpose use.
