Unique protest: Villagers cook food at Gram Panchayat office for this reason?

Protest against difference in allotment of schemes to victims who lost homes to floods took a new turn after villagers at Haveri gathered at Gram Panchayat office.

 

Accusing the Panchayat Development Officer of not providing the flood victims the compensation of Rs 10,000 announced by CM, the villagers set up stove and fire wood and cooked food at the Gram Panchayat office entrance.
