Bengaluru: Petrified by the deadly coronavirus outbreak, it is said that few PG owners in Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) limits have asked the guests to vacate the PG. When questioned by the helpless guests, the owners allegedly blamed BBMPs orders.

However, BBMP commissioner and chief health officer say that BBMP never asked anyone to force the guests out of the PGs.

The BBMP indeed has sent out a circular asking the PG owners not to overcrowd the PG, keeping the sink area and kitchen are clean and also disinfecting bathrooms and toilets frequently amidst coronavirus outbreak.

It also said that in a 100 sq feet area, only two persons should be allowed to stay.

Only when institutions have declared emergency holidays the owners can request the guests to go back, but cannot force them out.
