Kollam Mayyanad native Vasanthakumar (68) passed away at the Parippally medical College due to coronavirus. He had returned from New Delhi on June 10. He tested positive for coronavirus on June 17 while in quarantine.
He had acute pneumonia and also had heart problems. His condition became critical two days ago and he was on life support. With this, the COVID death toll in Kerala has reached 23.
