'Omar Abdullah, Anand Mahindra, Sudha Murty…': Why PM Modi Sought Help from Influential Persons

PM Modi, along with Neeraj Chopra, Nikhat Zareen, highlighted the disadvantages of obesity. PM Modi addressed the 119th episode of Mann Ki Baat, emphasising the rise of obesity in recent years. The Prime Minister advised reducing the consumption of cooking oil in daily life routine. He nominated several public figures, including J&K CM Omar Abdullah, Anand Mahindra, Sudha Murty, to help in the fight against obesity. Narendra Modi requested nominated individuals to encourage 10 more people each to support the initiative. J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah joined campaign against obesity launched by PM Narendra Modi. He also mentioned 10 other influential public figures including Deepika Padukone, Irfan Pathan, Supriya Sule. The initiative aims to strengthen the fight against obesity and reduce the consumption of cooking oil. WATCH.
