Today is Doctors' Day. Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the nation in honouring doctors who gave fought back the Coronavirus pandemic resiliently and served humanity despite challenges and personal risks.
There are many doctors who have with their acts touched many lives and saved many more in times of pandemic. One such person is Dr Sunil Kumar Hebbi, Bengaluru's 'doctor on wheels'.
This 37-year-old doctor, who drives around Bengaluru in a Mahindra Verito, visits patients who reach out to him and offers them treatment.
His own brother was a victim of the pandemic. Dr Sunil says he has been able to assist close to 700 people.
He is thankful for the support he has been receiving from the people and hopes that others would step forward to support him.
