"During the visit, he will meet UAE dignitaries and a broad cross-section of the Indian community in UAE," the External Affairs Ministry said in a statement.
There will be a special focus in the visit on issues related to the Indian community, especially the welfare of Indian workers, it said.
India and UAE have maintained close coordination in the spirit of their comprehensive strategic partnership during the Covid-19 pandemic.
In November last year, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar had also paid a visit to UAE.
The two countries have a successfully functioning air bubble arrangement.
Last week, the Union Cabinet had given approval for a memorandum of understanding on scientific and technical cooperation between the Ministry of Earth Sciences and the National Centre of Meteorology of the UAE.
The MoU would enable the way for the deployment of meteorological observation networks on a mutual agreement over ocean waters, cooperation in the development of special capacities of tsunami models researches for their faster and more reliable forecasts propagating through the Oman Sea and the Arabian Sea which affect the coastal areas of India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), an official statement had said.
