As per reports, the Panchayat Development Officer SC Suresh, Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA workers) and health officials are deployed at every village unit and people are educated about the importance of wearing mask, sanitizing hands and maintaining social distance.

The villagers also extend support and coordinate and come out only if it is necessary and when they step out of their houses, they follow all the necessary Covid-19 protocols.

The six villages are further classified into 24 clusters and each cluster has about 70 to 80 families and every family head ensures the rest of the family members follow Covid protocols.

This apart, the families are also aware of the legal trouble one may face if found flouting Covid rules and hence the village administration has found success in maintaining zero Covid cases.
