As cult cinemamaker AMR Ramesh is in the completion stage of his web series on forest brigand, as he is attempting to make a web series on LTTE chief Prabhakaran's life. As per reports, director Ramesh has researched for two years to make a feature film, however, with the present condition and OTT platform gaining traction, he plans a web series release now.
If reports are to be believed, the life of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) chief Velupillai Prabhakaran will be out on a web series.
Director AMR Ramesh who has made films like Cyanide, Atthaasa will direct the web series.
The director has stated in the media that he researched for two years and met intelligence officers, RAW agents, and people associated with LTTE then.
The director is said to begin the process once he is done with a web series on forest brigand Veerappan.
"I developed the story for a full-length film, but now looks like it's time for OTT," Ramesh was quoted as per a regional media report.
Director AMR Ramesh in the past made 'Cyanide' featuring Ravi Kale, Tara and Rangayana Raghu and Naseer in lead roles based on an episode of PM Rajiv Gandhi's killers taking shelter in Bengaluru outskirts and how police cornered them.
'Attahasa' film featuring Kishore was based on forest brigand Veerappan who had terrorized three southern states Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu by smuggling sandalwoods and ivory and later kidnapping Kannada star Dr Rajkumar.
