The official residence of the Prime Minister of Pakistan is up for rent. Many experts are speculating that decision could have been prompted by the diminishing coffers of the Pakistan government.

It is said that Rs 470 million was being spent on the upkeep of the Pakistan Prime Minister's residence, which had forced Imran Khan to move out of his official residence in August 2019. Imran had then termed it as an austerity measure from his end. However, facts speak otherwise.

So now, the Pakistan Prime Minister's residence is also now not only being converted into a museum and art gallery but also, reports say, it could go on to host even fashion shows.

The Pakistan government, according to local media, allowed people to hold cultural, educational, and other events at the premises.
