Sidhu, who has been on a confrontation with Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, said that the AAP, the opposition party in the state, has always recognised his work and vision.

The tussle between Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and Navjot Singh Sidhu has been on for the last several weeks.
According to sources, Sidhu wants a key position in the Congress party and the Punjab government, while Amarinder Singh does not want Sidhu to be included in the cabinet.
Despite the fight between the two leaders reaching Delhi, the Congress high command has not yet been able to resolve the differences between them.
Congress leaders said that the party high command is preparing to make a major reshuffle in the party's Punjab unit.
