The monsoon session was scheduled to go on till August 13 but has come to a halt amid Opposition protests and ruckus over various issues including Pegasus snooping row and farm laws.

The ongoing monsoon session of Parliament in the Lok Sabha which is in its final week, was adjourned sine die on Wednesday.

The monsoon session was scheduled to go on till August 13 but has come to a halt amid Opposition protests and ruckus over various issues including Pegasus snooping row and farm laws.

The OBC Bill, which will allow states to draw up their own OBC list, was passed in the Lok Sabha yesterday.

Press and Public Relations Wing of the Lok Sabha Secretariat also said that Speaker Om Birla will address the press at noon.

The monsoon session commenced on July 19.
