Elattuvalapil Sreedharan, who is widely known as 'Metro Man' and is credited for his stellar role in changing the face of public transportation in India, is all set to join the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Elattuvalapil Sreedharan, who is widely known as 'Metro Man' and is credited for his stellar role in changing the face of public transportation in India, is all set to join the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Sreedharan will officially join the BJP during the party's proposed rally Vijay Yatra, Kerala BJP president K Surendran informed on Thursday.
The BJP has requested Sreedharan to contest in the forthcoming assembly elections in the state.
Sreedharan has been the force behind the successful completion of the most challenging railway projects in the country. These include the Konkan Railway and the Delhi and Lucknow Metro projects
Sreedharan also functioned as Principal Advisor of the Kochi Metro Rail Project.
