International flights to and from India have been suspended till December 31 in view of the coronavirus pandemic. The restrictions are, however, not applicable on international all-cargo operations and flights specially approved by the DGCA.

According to a Directorate General of Civil Aviation circular, aircraft will fly only on select routes on a case-to-case basis.
The circular titled 'Travel and Visa restrictions related to Covid-19' read: "In partial modification of circular dated 26-06-2020, the competent authority has further extended the validity of circular issued on the subject cited above regarding Scheduled International commercial passenger services to/from India till 2359 hours IST of 31st December, 2020."
