From April 1, Covid-19 vaccination will be available for all above the age of 45.

Union Minister Prakash Javadekar announced that the decision had been taken by the cabinet following advice from the Coronavirus Task Force and experts.

The minister informed that all those eligible should get themselves registered for vaccination.

India has so far administered over 4.72 crore doses till Monday evening.

Among those include 78,30,626 healthcare workers who have taken the first dose and 49,30,888  healthcare workers who have taken the second dose, 81,72,121 frontline workers who took their first dose and 27,93,013 frontline workers who have taken their second dose, 1,94,07,739 beneficiaries over 60 years old and 40,72,747 beneficiaries aged 45 and above with specific co-morbidities.
