The Karnataka government has decided to impose night curfew in the state from 10 pm to 6 am till January 2, 2021.

The decision after Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa met with Health Minister K Sudhakar and technical committee.

Announcing the decision, the state health minister said: "This (night curfew) has been done to prevent and contain the coronavirus strain found in the UK. We are also monitoring international passengers arriving in the state."
