Telangana: Rajamma’s fast for her boyfriend reaches fifth day in Kothagudem

A young woman continues her fast for the fifth day for her missing boyfriend who she alleges is taken into hiding by his parents. The woman is on fast in front of his locked house at Seetampet Banjara village in Sujathanagar mandal of Bhadradri Kothagudem district.

According to Sakshi report, 27-year-old Boda Rajamma met L Venkateswarlu when she was pursuing her graduation at Khammam. He was her classmate’s brother.

Their friendship matured into love with Venkateswarlu promising marriage. He is working as a Security Guard in a private company in Nellore. His parents came to know of their love, went to Nellore and packed him off to unknown place.

Rajamma has been on fast in front of his locked house since Thursday seeking his whereabouts. Youth Congress leader Batthula Veeraiah, Youth Congress Mandal President Sudheer Kumar and ST Cell leaders rise in support of her and seek justice.
