PM Narendra Modi writes a letter of appreciation to KTR

Synopsis

PM Modi asked the Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao to participate in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan He also appreciated the Telangana government on its welfare schemes in providing pure drinking water to every house through Mission Bhagiratha

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote a letter of appreciation to Telangana State Urban Development and IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao on Thursday. In his letter Modi acknowledged KTR’s initiatives of Mission Bhagiratha and Swachcha Bharat.

Modi also asked KTR to upload ideas on the mobile app of PM. Modi lauded Telangana Government for its initiative in providing safe drinking water to every household through its Mission Bhagiratha.

On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti on October 2nd, Centre has planned a movement called Swachchata Hi Sewa, a cleanliness service. Modi has invited KTR to take part in the movement. He also asked him to take the Swachchata Oath.

Modi also appreciated KTR for his projects of segregating wet and dry waste, safe autos and waste management.

Telangana government decided to take forward the Swachch Bharat program taking  inspiration from the PM’s letter.
