Ministers plant 5,000 trees for KTR birthday

Ministers Mahendar Reddy and Jagadish Reddy planted 5 thousand plants along with school children They planted the trees on the behest of  KTR Thousands of students participated in the Harithaharam Project

Telangana Information Technology, Industries and Municipal Administration Minister and son of Chief Minister K. Chandrsekhar Rao, Kalvakuntla Taraka Ramarao celebrated his birthday yesterday by participating in the Harithaharam program.

KTR called his party workers and TRS ministers not to spend money on flexies, hoardings, bouquets and advertisements on his birthday but to plant trees in the Harithaharam Project.

Among those who followed his request were two cabinet ministers Patnam Mahendar Reddy and Jagadish Reddy. They planted 5,000 trees in Sainagar, Bachupalli in Kuthbullapur with the assistance of thousands of students. Other officials who participated in the program are MLAs Vivekananda Gowd, MP Mallareddy, MLC Sambipur Raju and Collector MV Reddy. The ministers, MLAs, MP and MLC took the oath of Harithaharam.
