In a tragic incident, a man murdered his fiancée by strangling her, packed her body in a gunny bag, threw the bag in a lake and surrendered himself to the police. This incident took place in Kukatpally, Hyderabad on Friday, October 6.
According to a news story in Sakshi, 19-year-old Soumya studying first year graduation in a private college in IDPL (Indian Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited) was recently engaged to Krishnaiah. Krishnaiah had doubts on Soumya of being close to someone in college and murdered her.
On Friday, Krishnaiah took Soumya on his bike to the Chintal forests in Jeedimetla and strangled her. He then packed the dead body in a gunny bag, carried it on his bike and threw it in the IDPL lake in Kukatpally.
He then went to the police station and surrendered himself. Police are in the process of pulling out Soumya’s body from the lake.
