Hyderabad drug bust: Excise dept arrests a Dutch national

Apart from the questioning of certain Tollywood personalities, the team has now arrested a Dutch national, who is claimed to be an important source of information in this case.
Telangana’s Excise Authorities arrested Dutch national Mike Kamminga on Tuesday night and it is reported that drugs was recovered from his possession as well. He is touted to be a key arrest after that of Calvin Mascrenhas. He will soon be produced in court. He is also being probed for his connections in Europe regarding drugs.
With this, the total tally of arrests in this case goes upto 20. Prior to him, actress Kajal Aggarwal’s former manager Puttkar Ronson Joseph was arrested on Monday for the possession of ganja. Police are now trying to probe into their links and network in the industry and outside.
Among other news, actress Charmmee Kaur seemed to put up a cheerful front after finishing answering questions by the SIT. She was the seventh Tollywood celebrity to be questioned in the case.
Kamminga, who was on his fourth visit to India, is being considered as a key link in the supply of drugs from European countries to the accused already arrested in the case.
