Advancements in the smartphone hardware had almost hit a roadblock, until a bezel-less device was introduced by Samsung, Xiaomi, and others. These days, in the hardware department, there is a hope a foldable device from Samsung and hopefully others will follow. All those futuristic phones could turn into a reality someday.
One such device that will make you sit right and take notice is ZTE's Axon M. This smartphone, unlike other foldable phones, does not feature a foldable screen. In fact, it’s a dual screen device that can be folded. And, there is a hinge that keeps both LCD panels together. It has a 5.2-inch display with 1080p Full HD resolution. However, when combined, they forma huge display of 6.8-inches diagonally.
It is powered by Snapdragon 821 processor with 4GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB onboard storage, expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card. There’s a fingerprint sensor and it runs Android Nougat stock. According to AndroidAuthority, one of the biggest benefits is when typing the lower display can turn into a keyboard, allowing comfortable typing. It also gets a 20MP camera and a 3,180mAh battery.
Moreover, the report adds that both screens can run independently too. We wonder if it will ever enter the Indian market.
