The Redmi Note 5, successor to the Note 4, has started making its presence felt. According to a report by Android Headlines, the Redmi Note 5 comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor.
The report claims that the device will be made available in two RAM and storage variants namely 32GB storage + 3GB RAM and 64GB storage and 4GB RAM. This means there won't be a 2GB variant for this supposedly mid-range device.
The leak also shows that the device will most likely come with a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution. It is likely to come with 16MP rear snapper with f/2.0 aperture and flash. On the front, one can expect a 13MP camera, which is a huge upgrade from the 5MP seen on the Note 4.
It could run MIUI 9 based on Android Nougat and will come embedded with a fingerprint scanner. However, this time, the scanner could be on the front side below the display. Support for USB Type-C and a 3790mAh battery are also expected.
