In India, WhatsApp Payment has not taken off the same way that other payment applications such as Google Pay or Paytm have. Now, the corporation is rumoured to launch a rebate programme to increase the number of people who use their payment service in India. WhatsApp users would receive Rs 51 return for making payments using the Facebook-owned instant messaging service. WhatsApp's Android beta version 2.21.20.3 included the cashback feature. According to reports, the app displays a "Give cash, receive Rs 51 back" ad.
The Rs 51 cashback is only accessible for Android users, and the service is still in testing. By transferring money to different contacts, users can receive a guaranteed payback of Rs 51 up to five times. WhatsApp has not determined the amount that customers must send for this cashback. In other words, a person can transfer Rs 1 and receive Rs 51 in return. When you make the payment, the Rs 51 is immediately deposited into your account.

While the return is assured and there is no limit to the amount of money that may be paid, WhatsApp will only reimburse you for your first five payments made using the app. While the functionality is now only available to WhatsApp users on Android, it will likely expand to a larger user base in India. This payback is comparable to the one offered by Google Pay in its early days. The software, previously known as "Tez," used to reward users precisely Rs 51 as a referral incentive when their suggested friends completed their first purchase.

In other news, WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new feature that would allow users to pause voice recordings in between. In contrast to the present version, which requires users to talk without gaps, it will effectively send cleaner and shorter audio messages. The new feature does not need users to stop their current recording and begin a new one. The voice recording function first emerged in WhatsApp for iOS, but it is now available in WhatsApp beta for Android. This development has yet to be confirmed by the Facebook-owned corporation.
