The complete list of phones to get the new Android Oreo update

Synopsis

Several Moto devices will get the Oreo update. The Galaxy S8 models and the newly launched Note 8 are in the list. Google's Pixel series and also the older Nexus range are likely to get the new update.

Google recently unveiled its latest iteration of mobile OS - Android 8.0 Oreo. While the Pixel devices are the first to get the update when they rollout sometime around October, the update will also come to other devices. However, as we know, most Android devices are still running iterations, and fragmentation is one of the biggest issues. S, let's take a quick look at the device that could likely get the new update.

Google 

Google's Pixel series and also the older Nexus range are likely to get the new update. Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player and Pixel C tablet will be getting the update.

HTC

The HTC U11, HTC U Ultra and HTC 10 are likely to get the new update. 

Samsung

While the Galaxy S8 models and the newly launched Note 8 are in the list, owners of the Galaxy A7, A5, A3, A8 and A9 will also get the update. Then, there ate the J series devices like 2017 models of the J7 Max and J7 Pro. The J7 Prime,J7v, S7, S7 Edge are said to be among the devices to get the Oreo update.

OnePlus

OnePlus 3, 3T and the latest OnePlus 5 are expected to get the Oreo update.

LG

A list of LG phones are to gt the new update including LG G6, V30, V20, Q6 and Q8.

Xiaomi
Xiaom,i devices including the Mi 6, Mi Mix 2, Mi A1, Mi Max 2 and Mi Note 3 will be getting the update.  

Nokia

Nokia 8, Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 users will get the latest Android update, which was also promised by the company during their respective launches.

Moto

The Moto brigade to get the new Google update could include Moto Z, Moto Z Droid, Moto Z Play Droid, Moto Z2 Play, Moto G4, g4 Plus, G5, G5 Plus and the Z2 Force.

Sony

The list of Sony devices to get the Oreo update include Xperia X, Xperia X performance, X Compact, XZ, XZs, XZ Premium, XA1, XA1 Ultra, Sony Xperia Touch and the Xperia L1.
