Recently, Reliance Jio had announced its Rs 799 tariff plan, and now Airtel bounces back with a data plan at the same price.
It's been less than a week that Jio announced its special plan for iPhone and now Airtel has launched a similar plan offering a whopping 84GB data. The Airtel plan is for prepaid users and offers unlimited local and STD calls for 28 days along with 3GB data per day.
Interestingly, Jio offers 90GB of data per month at Rs 799. It is available for postpaid users and comes with free voice and SMS along with subscription to Jio's premium apps. It is also available for prepaid users. The validity period is 28 days.
Recently, Jio had quietly updated its Rs 149 plan to bring to users unlimited data. The plan comes with 2GB data with a validity period of 28 days. Post the usage of the 2GB data, users needed to buy a top-up voucher. Now, with the new update, it is offering users unlimited data at Rs 149. But, post the 2GB usage, users will get to access data at 64kbps. However, please note that the speed post FUP lower than what it offers otherwise at 128kbps.
