The dust on the brand new iPhones - the iPhone 8 and the iPhone X - has barely settled and we have started hearing about next year's iPhone model.
If reports online are to be believed than expect some cool changes to the upcoming iPhone models. The 2018 iPhones, according to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (via Macrumors), will feature liquid crystal polymer (LCP) antenna modules that will help with faster LTE transmission speeds.
Apple, according to Kuo, is likely to use Intel XMM 7560 and Qualcomm Snapdragon X20 modems in its next-generation iOS devices for faster LTE transmission speeds. Kuo has also predicted that the next-gen iPhone models may feature dual-SIM dual standby. Dual SIM is a popular feature among Indians.
Apple is believed to be working on three iPhones for 2018, which include a 5.8-inch OLED model just like the iPhone X, a larger 6.5-inch OLED model and an all-new 6.1-inch LCD model. All three will come with edge-to-edge displays and Face ID.
Apple is estimated to ship 100 to 120 million iPhone units in the second half of 2018.
