Verdict
All three come with thin bezels and displays almost cover the front side. All three have maintained that one of the biggest highlights of their respective devices is the camera. However, unlike the Note 8 and iPhone X, the Pixel 2 XL has a single rear snapper. And, Google has said that its tech behind the camera is so good that it doesn’t require two sensors. Its DxOMark rating is 98 compared to Note 8's 94, but the rating for the iPhone X isn't available yet.
There are also some unique features like Pixel 2 gets a squeezable frame that can perform a few tasks like launching Assistant, silencing calls and the iPhone X has a face ID and also a portrait lighting mode. The Note 8 comes bundled with an S-Pen and also comes with curved screens. Note 8 has bixby, while Pixel has Google assistant and iPhone X has the Siri. Pixel also lacks wireless charging ability.
When it comes to storage, Note 8 has an edge over the others. But, Apple and Google will get to control the OS updates for their respective devices. All three are packed with features. If you are an iOS fan, than the iPhone X is the obvious choice, that is if you are willing to spend a huge amount of Rs 89,000. When it comes to Android, the Note 8 seems to have an edge over the Pixel 2, especially considering the lower price tag, at least on paper.
