According to a new feature announced on Wednesday, Google users will soon be able to mix photos and text in search searches that may help Alphabet Inc unit increase its position in e-commerce and supremacy in online video. According to Prabhakar Raghavan, Senior Vice President, using this new function, one might tap the Lens icon while viewing a photo of a shirt and ask Google to recognise the same pattern – but on a different piece of apparel, such as socks. He went on to say that it might be beneficial when seeking for something difficult to explain accurately with words alone.
The system also sorts within videos, notably on Google's YouTube, which is already the largest streaming service on the internet.

Choosing a picture will bring up comparable online visuals, which may assist customers in locating where to buy products shown in photographs and eventually drive them to Google Shopping, Amazon's competitor marketplace.
Making more items searchable is another priority. Google announced a free Address Maker software for governments and organisations to plan routes and address companies and houses not yet included on Google Maps. According to Google, the software may cut the time it takes governments and organisations to issue addresses for a community from years to weeks.
