Airtel is now offering 1000GB free data for one year

Jio's plans to bring JioFiber at a base price of has been doing the rounds. Looks like to combat this yet to arrive offer from Jio, Airtel has announced 1000GB of free data for a year with its broadband plans.

Airtel's Unlimited internet offer is for those who buy a new connection in select regions. So, under the Airtel offer, users can choose from four plans that are priced at Rs 1099, Rs 1299, Rs 1499 and Rs 1799, and get 1000GB of extra data for one year.

As you see in the chart above, the plans start at Rs 899 and go all the way up to Rs 1799. For the Rs 899 plan, users will get bonus data of 750GB. In addition, you get unlimited local and STD calls and 60GB data at up to 16Mbps speed. The other four offers brings 1000GB of free data. The Rs 1299 to Rs 1799 offers bring to you up to 100Mbps speed.

Jio is also said to bring in 100Mbps speeds when launched. The JioFiber network will reportedly be rolled out in 10 cities, including all metros. Meanwhile,  is said to be the first Indian city to get 1Gbps Internet speed. ACT Fibernet will offer high speeds with 1TB FUP in Hyderabad at ₹5999. It also plans to extend the internet services to 10 other Indian cities.
