Liquor bottles seized from Aavin parlour, license of the shop stands cancelled

Synopsis

Inquiries revealed that a friend of the employee at the outlet bought a case of beer. He kept the remaining 11 bottles at the outlet after consuming one bottle of liquor. The Food Safety Officers alerted the TASMAC district officials on this issue.

License has been cancelled as a box of liquor bottles was seized from Aavin Parlour at Vellore.

A surprise inspection was carried out in Aavin Parlour based on a complaint that the parlour has been selling quality less products. That’s when they seized a box of liquor bottles. 

Soon it caught the attention of Media. Following this, the license was cancelled.

Inquiries revealed that a friend of the employee at outlet bought a case of beer. After consuming a bottle of liquor, he kept the remaining 11 bottles at the outlet for a while. In the meantime, the food safety officials conducted the check.

The Food safety officers alerted the TASMAC district officials on this issue. Police are conducting an inquiry.
