TN: Health minister Vijaybhaskar says he has nothing to hide, and hence no fear

Tamil Nadu health minister ready to face legal charges on the gutka and pan masala issue. He pointed out that the embargo on gutka and pan masala has been extended for one more year. He also said that he never met Madhavrao, with whom the media has been linking him with.
Health Minister Vijaya Bhaskar said that he will face the legal charges on the gutka and pan masala issue.
In his statement, he said, "until April 2017, more than 544 tonnes of gutka and pan masala were confiscated and destroyed. He pointed out that the embargo on gutka and pan masala has been extended for one more year.”
He further added, “Media has been mentioning my name along with a person called Madhavrao, but I have never met him. Some people are thinking that they could destroy me with such baseless accusations. I have nothing to hide so I don’t need to fear anyone. I will face these issues legally”
