The National Commission for Women has issued a notice to the actor for publicly mentioning the name of the actress who is a sexual assault victim.
The Hindu Makkal Katchi also complained that the contestants' portrayal in the reality show Bigg Boss would degrade Tamil culture.
It is also observed that he is making many remarks against the ruling government.
So the film industry has expressed fear that the actor might get arrested due to his inflammatory statements.
In an interview, actor Vishal said, “ Kamal Haasan will not get involved in anything without looking into all aspects. This Bigg Boss issue is not a big deal for him. This problem has been created only because of his involvement. In case of a problem, the entire film industry will back him up.”
