Synopsis

Premlatha said that the government should ensure that oil and gas projects are initiated in uninhabited areas. She said that it was DMK-Congress coalition which first permitted ONGC in Tamil Nadu. The government should throw away such projects if people are against it, she said.

DMDK chief Vijayakanth and his wife Premalatha Vijaykanth have come to Kathiramangalam village to show their support for the villagers.

Later Premalatha Vijaykanth said,“It was DMK- Congress coalition which first permitted ONGC.  If a plan is unwelcome, then the government should not implement it.
