Fried mid-air, no AC in Bengaluru Chennai flight

Synopsis

The cabin crew failed to provide any explanation behind none functioning of the air conditioning system. The incident happened in a Jet Airways flight from Bengaluru to Chennai.

 

On Friday, April 14, about 70 passengers of a Jet Airways flight from Bengaluru to Chennai had a difficult time as the air conditioning reportedly stopped working and the temperature inside the cabin shot up. 

 

The flight that took off at 6:30 pm faced the problem two to three minutes into the flight and the after 10 minutes the captain announced that the AC is not working, a leading national daily reported. The cabin crew failed to provide any explanation behind none functioning of the air conditioning system and the passengers had to travel in high temperature. 

 
According to the Times of India report, the Jet Airways released a statement stating that flight 9W 2738 witnessed cooling issue because of some technical snag.
