My work will continue: Kiran Bedi

Kiran Bedi says that she has taken office to serve the people. However, she is disappointed by the way media has projected her. She blamed people who did not want progress for the negative promotion.

Kiran Bedi says “I have come to Delhi to participate in the President’s retirement function. I am working for the welfare of the people but from what I saw in media, I got to know that some persons are considering my actions as a disruption to them. My service will only benefit the people. How will it affect them?  Some people prefer the same condition to continue forever. Don’t they want to enhance the people’s standard of living? I have faced much opposition like this. This has not affected me. We are here to serve people. As a law-abiding citizen I will continue to work for the welfare of the people.”
