A child’s body was found chopped in pieces in an area near Mannargudi of Thiruvarur. It is being suspected that the child was a human sacrifice.
In a sugarcane field owned by a man named Somu in Painganadu, a child’s body was found chopped in pieces. The police was informed thereafter.
After primary investigation at the spot, the police sent the body parts for DNA test. Even after searching the entire field, the police could not find the remaining body parts.
This has led to the suspicion that the child might have been killed for human sacrifice. Investigation is underway.
